Hey,

I was re-aquascaping my Bf's and my tank (honestly not sure what the proper English is for that). When I flipped over one rock I came across these fuzzy things moving across the rock. What are they? Are they harmful? If so, what do I do to get rid of them? I can't say I've ever seen anything like them and my boyfriend would be likely to know, but unfortunately he is overseas and it is 4am for him right now.

Thank you in advance for any help at all! image.jpeg

They are bristle worms and as long as you dont touch them with your bare hands they are fine. They are actually good CUC

Holy crap!! Are you serious?? We had a bristle worm that died almost a year ago! I can't believe it has living descendants!! Wow I'm so excited!! Thank you!!

Ahh! That's so great! We loved the bristle worm and we were so sad when it passed away. I honestly forgot about it until just now though with all the other stuff we have in the tanks. I was thrilled when I flipped over another rock and found dozens of baby feather dusters stuck to the rock. Any chances our brittle star that passed has babies left somewhere? Haha

The Brittle Stars will make it back into your tank again as well. :-)
