What is this fuzzy stuff???

Have some really aged live rock (as seen by the baby kraken arms of a brittle star) and this weird green fuzzy stuff. Looks like just the heads of GSP, but ultra mini and mixed with a hairy mushroom....
Any thoughts?

Are there more scattered all around your tank? I see one off to the right of your circle. Possibly a spawning event. Do you have any other corals in your tank that look similar to it?

FINALLY coming back to this. After some research, 95% positive it's a form of Pavona coral!
I even was able to cut a frag of it.
