To me, it looks like a brittle star's legs, and possibly the body and other legs are in the hole. My brittle star responds when i feed mysis, you could try adding some to see if that will coax it out the rest of the way to confirm.

I doubt it will come out, I have one that I got from a wild caught coral that hasn't left its spot in 5 months
