So I have these dark purple/red marks all over my rocks. I can easily scrub it off with tooth brush but it’s spread so fast everywhere that I’ve just left it. After some research it looks like coralline algae which I think is good but I’m not sure.

Increase the flow, and check nutrient levels. Cyano can sometimes be the result of unbalanced nitrates and phosphates.

You would need to get a test kit for nitrate and phosphate. The salifert test kits are inexpensive and work great.
Depended on your reefing goals, nitrates of 5 to 10 ppm and phosphates of .02 to .05 ppm

To lower nitrates I’m assuming water changes or all I can pretty much do? And phosphates I’m not very familiar with that

Reduce feeding and consider other strategies, both chemical and biological, which you can find by searching this forum. Not much of a problem at this stage imho.
