So the probiscus above the actual worm is part of the black/white tube body that extends down and opens?Looks like the proboscis of a peanut worm to me. If so it's harmless. Actually a good hitchhiker. I had one for at least 5 years. For all I know I still do, but I haven't moved the tank in a while and that's usually when I find it.
That bottom picture looks like it. I thought you were refering to the two flagelletes (not sure if thats the right term) sticking out above where the tube body extends out.
