It came out of the rock. First time I have seen it and have never seen one like it be either.

I'd guess maybe sea cucumber, yeah. A picture in a container would be good. Is it alive, or has it died?

The main thing to figure out would be, I think, if it reacts fast or slow. If you prod it and it retreats in a flash, it's possibly a worm. If you prod it and it retreats more slowly, it's probably a cucumber.

Looks like it could be a form of a bobbit worm. If so, you need to get it out.

I touched it with tweezers & he reacted by pulling back slightly but stayed put and resumed original position.
