It appears to be growing from the Nitrate rocks and is now intertwining with the chaeto. If it needs to go I’d appreciate thoughts on how to tackle that!

Got enough flow in there? I usually find that stuff growing where flow is low. You'll get all kinds of garbage growing in a sump like that.

Probably not to be honest. I have nothing pushing water outside of the natural movement. Do you recommend a small wavemaker in the fuge? It’s a small area and it would be pointing so thst the water is pushed back towards the return. Red Sea v3 sump.

The Sump is where you want all this stuff to grow, you could ruffle the water in there to get it to release and scoop it out, pull it out, but its growing on something, utilizing something in the water, you could just try and keep it under control so it doesn't over take the chaeto.

Looks like the Chaeto is dying and cyanobacteria are having a field day on the remains,

That’s cyano? Should I hit it with chemiclean?
Given its the fuge id suck it out, then turn the fuge off for a few days, or until get more macroalgae.

What are your nutrient levels, what type of fuge light and settings?

Everything is at zero. It’s a newer tank the the chaeto is working too well. It’s the new tunze submersible light. I have it on for 8 hours at night.

After the fuge is off a few days retest. What testkits are you using? Any corals or fish? Id probably would off on the fuge for awhile if the tank is really new.
