What is this growing?

2 of these have popped up in my tank in the past few days. What are these?

Also does anyone know what these clear bubbles are on the left side under the head of my Duncan coral? They have also just shown up in the past few days. I took the photo after I fed him some mysis, that's why he is so closed up . I've had him for a little over a month and he's grown so much and seems to be very happy!

First pic looks like a pineapple sponge
not sure about the second. Maybe nassarius snail eggs? Do you have any?

Thanks for the prompt reply! Is this something I should worry about? Someone commented online it may be a pineapple sponge, maybe? My water levels are fine, it's a newer tank and just finished with diatoms. Also this is my first saltwater and I'm still learning!

I don't believe I have those snails. I have 2 of these guys, but they were just introduced about a week ago when I had a diatom outbreak. All I have is 2 snails a damsel and 3 hermits. Oh and the Duncan which was given to me

Your Duncan may be putting out a new head. Pineapple sponges are not harmful.

It actually has become more solid in color and I feel like I almost see it move by itself sometimes but it's still there!! I had a really bad single bulb t8 fixture when this was taken so I don't think it was enough light for it to grow. I just picked up a kessil a160we 2 days ago so I'm hoping the light will help this grow faster. I've been watching it daily and ill keep you updated.

If you feed your Duncans, they will grow pretty quickly.

When I bought my Duncan back at the beginning of March it had 3 heads on it. There are now a total of 7 heads (two of those are still growing). Definitely the fastest growing coral in my tank. It also is a pig! Haha!

So today my Duncan looks like it finally has sprouted a new head!! Yay I've had him for about a month and a half but soon as I bought kessil lighting last week he seems to be much happier!!

Gotta look in between those huge tentacles of his!
