I personally like to remove the rock or frag and chisel or with bone cutters removing the piece of rock or plug it is attached to and flush it down the toilet.. Injecting it could cause it to release spores and spread. I have no experience with aptasiaX

That looks like something like aptaisia. A pest that recurrs.

Treated 3 different spots with Aptasia x. So far so good! That stuff seems to work pretty good. I see no traces of it after 2 days.
