I have had this rock for about 8 months and I noticed this red stuff growing, but recently I have noticed it spreading like crazy. I honestly think it's cool but I just hope it is ok to have. Is not soft like an algae its actually hard to the to touch.

It's not cyanoacrylate. A buddy of mine had that and battled with that. This is hard and stuck onto the rock. Kinda like a sponge..

If it feels slick kinda like tile , and is super hard and doesn’t scrape easily like regular corraline , it could be a red corraline. I have some.

Red Corraline. Or similar. It's not as smooth and hard as pink Corraline. Someone probably knows exactly. IME it's fine. Rabbit fish will try to eat it but it's pretty hard.

So I went back after you noticed the "bubble" and I do not see that that's odd. But I did poke at it some more and I did notice it start to kinda flake off alittle bit so I would say sponge is put of the question..I guess it is algae..

So on that note what should I do with it..

Blow it off and suck it out. Make sure there is adequate flow in the area to keep it from settling there

My plan with the rock is to cover it in zoa's. I already have one plug glued to it and I was going to glue 3 more tonight..

lloks like coraline to me & hard to the touch. The bubble looks like it's coming the rock.

When I did a water change I sucked it up with the siphon. Worked well!
