What is this hanging from

What is this hanging from the bottom of my lobo? I was moving it around because it was embedded and then I noticed this thing hanging covered in sand. It didn’t really move, I thought it was like a foot of the coral.

What does the tube look like when rinsed off?

I have tons of them, it looks like those worms that live under the sand and eat detritus. I am no expert on IDs though, don't take what I say for safe

The sand is stuck to it. Hanging from the bottom of the coral. Or it has sand stuck to it.

You mean bristleworms?

You mean bristleworms?

No I kick bristleworms in my "pest tank" every time I find them. I think it could be some worm from the family Chaetopteridae (maybe Phyllochaetopterus sp., but I had only a quick look). I have loads of them in the sand, I think they are beneficial.
