I am colorblind so it is hard to tell, but may be Brown Jelly Disease, look it up and see if the pics look the same.

What are your tank parameters? Mabe something is off and it’s dying

I'm really not sure. Maybe the coral caught something floating by or it's spilling its guts.

It looks like the skeleton has split in half and that head will eventually die. You can see how the circled part is very white, that’s newly exposed skeleton. Could be that the person that sold it to you tried to unsuccessfully frag it.

I definitely think so. You can clearly see that the skeleton is split. I’ve tried fragging a torch and the skeleton split the same way, up the middle.
