I bought an 150 Gallon tank a few months ago, it’s been running good have been growing some SPS and LPS, the tank came with this thing. I haven’t used them since I got the tank. What are they? And how do I use them? I can’t seem to figure it out but it looks like it can help me keep phosphates down. Please help me out

It seems they they connect to each other with tubing and then are connected to an over flow but I can’t seem to figure out how to get them running

Looks like a skimmer/trickle filter combo?

It’s a Toms Aquatics sump and ATO. Step one to using it is open up your cabinet, remove any applicable pumps. Step two, open up your garage door and place trash can by door. Step 3, place both devices in said trash can. Step 4 go buy a normal sump of decent capacity.

The problem is those are not well sealed canisters. They are Leak factories. There’s a reason you can no longer get one...
