What is this huge slug thing

Got some corals to stock my tank and found this huge slug looking thing on a frag. What is it? I dipped frag in freshwater and it shriveled up and died but is it okay to put the coral in the tank? Or do I need to dip it in something else? I do not have a qt. There was also a starfish I found

Not sure without a pic, of when it was alive...Starfish is perhaps a small serpent or brittle star?

Hard to tell from the pictures, the first picture of the "slug thing" almost looks like a stomatella but I can't really tell.

Wow... as for the starfish looks like Asterina, beware they will multiply. Some hate them some like them.
The slug, looking thing? Not sure...Limpet?

first pic- asterina star who will take down zoa in a flash and mutliply like mice. Remove manually as you see them. The snail- Possibly a stomatella, astrea snail or even a collanista snail but generally it is hard to depict anything through a plastic bag. Acclimate as normal and right before release, try to remove the snail item from the rock. If you have an issue, place an ice cube on it for several seconds and it should release then take a pic again
