^the metroplex is important if you are using copper. Copper alone will not address brooklynella.
Quick cure contains formalin and malachite green, it will definitely help with brook, if not cure it completely. Sometimes it takes several baths though, with a sterile QT after.
Formalin is a bit more harsh on the fish though, and a carcinogen. I personally prefer the acriflavine bath (API fungus cure and ruby reef rally contain acriflavine) followed by copper/metroplex.
