What is this in my reef tank

I’ve noticed this pop up in my tank. Does anyone know what this is and if its bad or good.

Pictures of it under white light would be helpful for a confident ID, but I’m assuming you’re asking about the tube-like things sticking up in the center of the pic, yes?

Sponges. Generally harmless filter-feeders. Unwanted vermetid snails are usually much more opaque than this.
