No clue what it might be. I have learned one thing with absolute unwavering conviction. GET IT OUT!!!!! If you don' know what it is, and it seems like it doesn' belong dig it out and flush the toilet!!!

Maybe someone has a better answer. Can' wait to see if, and what it might be!
 
It doesnt even look like anything other than a piece of dirt. Just get it out and take some pictures.

lol, that's my reaction too when I see something small and weird someplace where it probably shouldn't be. But then I try to take a few deep breaths, and remind myself not to go rushing into the tank and knocking over corals in my haste to get it out.
