What is this incredibly tiny flower thing?

What is this incredibly tiny flower thing? At first I thought this was a section of cyano growing on the rock but the hue of red was off. After watching for a few days I noticed a couple tiny trumpet like flower looking things. Can anyone tell what this is? This is the absolutely best picture I could get.

That is a crazy looking algae. Any idea what the species is?

My guess is a Botryocladia sp. - I don’t know macroalgae well enough yet to venture a guess at which species, but the Botrypcladia spp. I know are considered good macros (Reef Cleaners, for example, sells B. occidentalis).
