You have a picture you can post of the algae?
How long has the tank been running?

Its a little bit hard to tell without a picture or even a vivid description.

I'm no expert but looks to me like green dinoflagellates. There are lots of threads on it, but they are considered extremely difficult to get rid of and some people have even shut down their tanks because of it. Hopefully it's not that but if it is I wish you the best of luck getting rid of it

Some seller told me( DINO X 250ml remove any hairy or plague type algae) my be helpful

I always used a pinch (used the corner of a credit card) of it in my 75 gallon every 3 days in one week maybe two sometimes and it complete killed my gha, red slime, brown algae, and others.... just like every other product too much is bad.. I'd say it's reef safe

If you can arrange to look at it under a microscope, you will have a much better idea of what you're dealing with.
