I have these little black bugs but they dont bother anything as of right now They are so small I put one under a microscope i dont know what the heck it is if anyone has any ideas of what it is feel free to post lol

Also I've been in this hobby for a bit and have had my fair share of pest but have never seen anything like this

Without a picture, it's gonna be pretty tough to help out. Can you try to take one through the microscope lens?

If I had to guess, I’d say red bugs. They aren’t always red. Some are yellow. Some are brown. Does it look similar to a shrimp on the underside? I’d say a pic of the underside would make id’ing it easier.

Yes, Ostracods, (or baby codfish) Maybe Godzilla Larvae, but I have no Idea. OK, I got nothing.

I just googled them and they look pretty similar to what's in my tank. Just something else to add to the unending list of what can turn up in your reef
