Hello! I started dosing vinegar about a month ago. I was also dosing 5ml of MB7 every other day at night. Then these little white puffy and stringy things app9 eared
They are starting to prevent my zoas and a clove polyps from opening. Any ideas? Thanks!

Salinity: 1.025
Alk 8 - 8.5
Mag 1250
Nitrate - 25 ppm
Phos - .25 ppm
Ca - 490

30 gallon tank with 10 gallon sump. I run a UV and skimmer with fuge. I dosed MB7 at night and turned off skimmer and UV for about first two weeks of carbon dosing. I do not dose MB7 anymore but an still dosing about 12 ml of vinegar daily in ATO. I have been in hobby with freshwater for 18 years but this is my first reef tank. 8 months old.

It's bacterial colonies. Vacuum it off and cut back the vinegar until it goes away.

I had the same issue when I dosed Nopox and MB7

Thanks so much! Is it good bacteria?
I think it's the MB7 culture being given a huge boost by the carbon in the Nopox. So in that way it's good.

The downside is that it's probably significantly lowering the oxygen content in the water which can cause issues.
