Looks like bryopsys. Take the plug out and scrub the algae off with hydrogen peroxide. You don’t want it to spread

Yes, Bryopsis spreads quick, and it spreads all over.

As said. Remove it. Take ur finger nail and scrape it off. Swish in sw cup and replace. Hths

Just pop off the coral from the plug. Depending on what coral and how much glue is between the plug and coral, simply take a fresh razor blade and cut the coral free. Do this in a separate container so no algae enters the tank. Even if the coral is encrusted on the plug, cut it free. The coral will be fine.

that looks like bryopsis. i have found that eyeline tweezer from amazon is very useful for manually removing them
