What is this macroalgae?

Looks like some species of Dragon's Tongue (Halymenia Dilatata) I believe that @TSA Corals sells or did sell that species.

It really depends how much you like it, it’s definitely uncommon to see this species for sale.

I admire algae under white lights imo.

double check on the macroalgae threads. i was told by a local reefer that the dots and patterns are caused by mishandling and isn't there otherwise.

I've seen this in a video on YouTube but can't remember what they said it was called. I am looking for the video now. Will post it when I find it.

I have a small chunk of it in my fuge. Depends on what you want to use it for. Does not grow as quickly as chaeto or Caulerpa sp... so if you are looking for a massive nitrate and phosphate sink there are better options. I also feel like it supports less of a pod population than the other two as well. However if you are looking to make the fuge looks amazing beautiful this certainly does the job. You can also “tumble” it in the fuge and it makes for a very clean very vibrant and head turning fuge. But it will not uptake the nutrients that other options will IME.
