I started to notice these today before I went to work on one coral, and when I came home these things are on multiple sps corals. Last coral was added before the new year. All corals was dipped in Coral RX. Last acros were added the week before Thanksgiving. The last coral that was added was a Candy Cane coral. Tank has been fallow since X-mas due to my LFS putting fish in with their inverts that got ich. Please help me id these and help with a cure. I am ready to throw in a towel on this tank.

so all of those corals, are pocillopora NOT acropora, and to me it just looks like some polyps that are closed up. i wouldnt be worried.

Yea it’s polyps that just ate something. Don’t throw in the towel on that ! lol

Thank you. I have been through alot with this tank. I got fish in a 29 gallon quarantine tank, fish in 10 gallon with cuperamine, fish in another 10 gallon with paraguard. These are new fish. Then I have an invert quarantine tank also that has another month to go before they go into my tank. I know also have a 10 gallon quarantine tank for corals. I had to tear down my tank on Christmas Eve to get all the fish out of my tank. Then had to aquascape it all over again. I am so burnt out on tanks..lol

On the plus side, I got my pair of Mocha Storm Clowns.

Coral Barnacle.

Corals are fine now. Never seen them that way before.
