Just got 3 females and 1 male Lyretail Anthias on Friday. 1 died after the first day. Likely Ammonia Burn or stressed from shipping. This one has been eating and seemed ok the first few days but today sorta has a white mark and stomach seems “curved”. Any help is appreciated.

Lmypo? Really? I don’t see any wart like nodules on him. Just this white discolored area, stomach is curved(sunken) kinda and it’s sorta just been swimming vertically since this morning

I just realized it’s dots on the glass
Regarding stomach- they are constant eaters and should be fed pellets and meaty foods

She’s been eating and I’ve been feeling mysis 3 times a day. I guess I’m more concerned on the swimming vertical and the white discoloration part

Not sure if this is a buoyancy issue as it does not appear so
Other than a little thin, looks pretty good
Add foods as mysis is inadequate for them
Offer:
TDO pellets
LRS fish frenzy
Small plankton
Chopped krill
Spirulina brine shrimp

It died

Sorry to see. The first set of pictures showed that angled line - that is a prime symptom of internal Uronema. It is essentially untreatable, so there was nothing you could have done. It is not highly contagious in its internal form, so while the other anthias might also be carrying it, they won't catch it directly from this fish. Here is an article I wrote on the disease:

@Jay Hemdal I'm screwed aren’t I? Velvet and Uronema?

Velvet would cause rapid breathing. The spots I see could be ich. And the mid body lesion IS also Uronema, man that really sucks.

Copper doesn’t seem to help against Uronema. I don’t suppose you have access to chloroquine?

I do not have any Chloroquine. I would assume the male I have left in QT will eventually get Uronema?

No, I’m surprised you already had two that had it - I usually see about 10 to 25% of the fish in any given group showing with it.
