What is this on my clown?

I went up to check my tank today and saw that the white on my clown’s tail was all gray and the white near the clowns head was gray on one side also. Does anyone know what this is?

Is it like that on both sides or just one?
Colors can do weird things when stressed or asleep.

Both sides of the tail are gray but only one side of the white near the head is gray
