Hello all,
This is my first post so go easy please.
I was casually observing my little clown as always and noticed this patch on its side of close together almost like grey ish scales. I originally thought it was ich or flukes but I am really quite unsure.
The clown is feeding normally and acting the same aswell.
Water parameters are as followed:
Salinity 1.026
Ammonia - 0.001
Nitite - 0
Nitrate 10 - 20
Dkh 8.5
Calcium - 430
Magnesium - 1290
I look forward to having more input into this forum on better terms in the future.

Welcome! You’ll find this a very friendly forum. How long have you had the clown? It looks in good condition, so I’m thinking it isn’t new. That isn’t ich and it isn’t flukes. The two things it could be are Brooklynella (Common in newly acquired clownfish) or a mild skin irritation causing mucus. If it is only on one side, and doesn’t spread, you may just want to watch it. Do you have a treatment tank available?

Thanks Jay I look forward to posting more soon in better circumstances.
They have been in the tank since Feb, so about 6 months so not new. I will keep an eye on it and report back if it gets worse.
Really appreciate it. Was panicking for a while.
