what is this on my glass

hi guys,

i have these small round things on my glass for a few days now. Does anyone know what this is? They‘re not moving of course.

My male banggai brooded eggs 2 weeks ago but the eggs are gone, he has nothing in his mouth now. Are these perhaps the eggs?

If its a new tank and there are many, could be spirobis worms (which aren't bad), or snail eggs

your photo is so far away... IF they seem bit fluffy, if you have sump perhaps they are also in baffles as they like high flow, and perhaps have tuft on top then perhaps these are pineapple sponges. People tell me they are good. BUT if you dig around enough online, pineapple sponges can grow to +5" and clog pumps... which is not my definition of "good" ... (ok, maybe just 1 guy, but if 1 guy... there is/will be more). I use an airline tube while the tank pumps are off and suck pineapple sponges out during water changes. I don't find pineapple sponges in my main DT for long ... suspect my flame angel or something eats any that make their way from sump into DT... but they are in overflow returns and other hard to reach high flow areas... Perhaps try getting another picture for people to take another view

sorry they are too small for me to take a clear picture. They seem to multiply, saw like 3-4 more on the seam of my glass. yanked them out and try to look under my cheap microscope. Seems like some kinda egg sack?

Those look like flatworms

is that a good thing or a bad thing? they’re not mobile though, they just stuck to the seam and are pretty hard to remove

If they are flatworms there bad but now that you say there stationary idk flatworms move very slow so maybe they do move your just not noticing it. I would take one and put some coral dip in a container see if it moves.

they do seem kinda eggy, dissect one and see if they are actual eggs inside or if it is tissue of one animal

i looked under a microscope and it seems to be little eggs in the sack. Hopefully they’re not bad creatures inside because they’re everywhere now. Im also hoping theyre not vermetid snails. Just found 2 of my astrea/trochus snails growing weird stuff on their shells

vermetids broadcast spawn since they can't have sex in person
