I have picked it off and it comes back. I see these tubes on some rock but they don’t seem to get any bigger ( I purchased this live rock from the lfs 3 months ago ). This frag is by the live rock that has these tubes. It’s hard to see the tubes on the rock so it can’t be they had I wonder if they are all dead. However I know this is Alive on my corral cuz it grows back.

Btw I know this is hair algae. This is the only spot In the tank that has it. I was hoping my hermits would get to it but they have been ignoring it for about a week. I may do manual removal. The HA is growing on the Skelton of the corral part that died.

Vermetid snail. You need to crush the base. bumble Bee snails will kill them.
That’s what I thought it was. Thank you :) I will crush the base since this is the only one on a corral. I don’t see it anywhere else in tank.
