What is this on my tang?

What is this on my tang? Looks like a cotton ball, almost sponge like.

We got it a couple weeks ago and I noticed it after we got him into quarantine. Acting fine, but not eating as much as I would like. I put nori in the tank for it, doesn't even eat it, and it put some thawed mysis, will eat sometime but mostly suck it in a spit it out.

The good news is that he is in QT!

It could be lymph... the photos dont make it look white, and lympho is most usually white and looks like cauliflower. I would keep an eye on it but go ahead with your QT procedures. Continue to try to get him eating.

Most likely Lymphocystis then. The blue is a link to more information on lymph for you.

It's more yellow but part of it are white. And I looks kind of dirty.
