What is this on my Torch coral?

My Torch coral has been doing great for months but recently it hasn't been expanding as much. I checked on it this morning and it had this white fuzzy foam looking thing on it never noticed this before. Could this be affecting my torch? Here's a pic

It looks like a sponge.

Ok thanks I think I'm probably going to do a coral dip encase anything is affecting my torch coral.

I would leave it be unless the torch is showing signs of distress, pulling it out and dipping it is just going to stress it out.
