What is this on my wrasse!?!!?

I just got this wrasse from a trusted lfs and I see this white thing hanging from its fin. What is it!? And what should I do?

It just fell off and I don’t know where it went!!!

Looks like an external parasite, but what? Is this fish in copper?

#reefsquad what do I do? Since it fell off is it ok to put the fish in? Or should I move it to my qt?
I didn’t originally qt it because the lfs qt’s the fish before they go in the tanks to sell

No it’s not, it’s in my DT in a netted acclimation box because the lfs I got it from already qt it. Big mistake on my part not putting him through my qt.

It sounds like it's already in your DT if you have it in an acclimation box. If it was a parasite, it then fell off in your DT. Id keep a close watch on everything else in the tank. First signs of something and you might need to treat all the current inhabitants.

As for now, I'd put him in a QT and go through a regular treatment protocol.
