What is this on my Zoas?

Can anyone tell me what this is on my Zoas? I, and if its harmful? Found it yesterday and since then it has become a little bit more extended.

Looks like aiptasia. If this is the only one you see and you can get out that coral out of the tank then try to cover it completely with crazy glue before it spreads out.

I agree, aptasia.
These are like ticking time bombs.
Definitely take a course of action to ratify.
I would recommend removing the frag, placing it into a quarantine tank. If the aptasia breaks up, it can spread. A complete QT completely separate from your main display is advisable, but at the least, just seperate the frag from the main water column. You wouldn't need anything big, just a simple container to separate it from the main tank. You could suspend something like a Tupperware container in the tank so lighting and heat wouldn't be additional. Then just do water changes a couple times a week for the little container. Just be sure not to introduce the container water into the main tank.
The best advice for aptasia is don't put it off for later.

i just noticed the same thing on my zoa frag. I took out and wondering how do you get rid of it? or do I just throw the frags away?

I just put coral putty over one of them, I found another but it is in a harder to reach spot, im waiting for it to come out again so I can cover it up.

Kalk paste works great for one or two of them. Filefish eat them too if you have an outbreak.
