Gha that is gobbling up all extra nutrients that the Skimmer is not pulling out.

You either are overfeeding and/or have an underrated skimmer and/or the flow is not turning the water over fast enough so the skimmer can do its job.

Is your skimmer rated for the total water you have?

Start manually pulling it out, dial back your feeding, increase your refugium lighting period or up your skimmer game, and step up your waterchanges.

It's not bad.... yet. This is just part of the hobby.

My tank is 65 gallons total system and I have Nyos 120 skimmer. According to Neptune my Versa M2 pump is pumping 500 gallons per hour? I have two MP40s running max 25% and slowed down at night time. I am also running HOB AquaUV and GFO and carbon. Refugium light runs 12 hours at night
