Bought some green mushroom coral on a piece of rock from the LFS. Did acclimation and 10-minute dip in coral dip. Next day noticed this orange thing. Seems like 2 connected tubes one has a stringy thing that waves around. Once I saw it ejected and caught it in a net. Is it some type of barnacle? Is it good or bad?

Good or bad? should I trim the mushroom away as it covers it during the day?

Thanks

What should I do with the mushrooms?
Nothing is wrong with them at all.
Some of the green ones can sting some other corals. And IMO its kinda the same attitude towards Xenia. FWIW I have both.
