Benthic ctenophores, a type of comb jelly. From what I have read, they are predominantly harmless filter-feeders, though may grow over corals:

Just googled them and found them on reef builders and they look exactly like what I have are these reef safe?Pictures under white light would be better for identification (ex. under a flashlight), but my guess is that this is a benthic ctenophore, a very rare hitchhiker.
There are reports of them competing with corals while others say they are benign, and I cannot conclusively say they are reef safe since I have never had them in my tanks. Personally, I would wait and see if it irritates corals before removing it:Just googled them and found them on reef builders and they look exactly like what I have are these reef safe?
Best way of getting rid of it: take turkey baster, and try to siphon it in (with)!
If isn't detaching from the surface, BLOW and suck, Blow and suck until it detach. You can't pick it up with tweezers or anything, it will split on 2 or more bits and every single one will regrow (like aiptasia)
