What is this please and thank you

It’s in my sump refurgium I am hoping it’s not a crazy pain In The buns algae!
This tank is cycling and I am running the refurgium to keep all the ugly in the fuge it’s working getting the green brown stuff on the sand in fuge but display is spotless but then I saw this fern like plant on. My rubble rock in the fuge is this good or bad?

Fern? Can it be a strand of bryopsis? When in doubt, take it out is what I saw. Easier to remove that tiny piece than deal with an infestation.

Took it out this morning it’s strange it’s no where els and the rock and sand where dry I did add a macro algae but it dosnt have any of it on it

Could be a strand of bryopsis. But hard to say from the photo.
