What is this. Pointy ich

All fish are currently im QT (DT going fallow) with copper power at 1.83. At first he looked bad, perhaps velvet. @HotRocks suggested a FW dip to check for flukes and at the same time give the fish relief from what we thought was marine velvet. No flukes came off durimg that 5min FW dip and turns out it was just a bad case of ich. Most of the ich came off but this remained. There's about 10 of these on his head. Looks like a bunch of little horns. Anyone know what this is and how to treat?

Hippo Tangs will oftentimes exhibit strange white body markings, especially whilst in copper. It could be viral lesions, which copper would exacerbate. I would just wait & see for now.
