Looks like a new tank to me. No its not bad. It is normal. Just like the brown stuff that will replace it. And the green stuff that replaces that. Then the pink stuff, then...

If it is a dead rock start, several different uglies are expected and natural over the next 12 months or so. Just keep your basic parameters in line.
