Tank is about 6 months old, 55g with an ulva/chaeto refugium. Nitrates have been in the 0.2ppm range (tested with Hanna LR) for a while now. I had what I think was a dino outbreak a week or so ago so I've been trying to increase nutrient levels since then - reduced fuge light intensity and photoperiod, removed some bio-media from the sump and started dosing Guilllard's f/2.
This green stuff has been expanding since I started the "dino" response. The largest I've seen it get is about 1/4", but I've been knocking it down with a toothbrush so it may get longer eventually. It's pretty firmly attached to the rock - brushing knocks some off but most stays put. The turbo snails have been knocking it down pretty well. It seems to stop growing at about the size shown in the picture - 1/8" or so of hair.
It doesn't appear to be GHA - it grows in a flat sheet. I don't think it's Byropsis - it doesn't have the "feather" growth form. It's definitely green, so I don't think it's Cyano.
