That appears to be the foot which appears the ricordea was torn off a base or poorly cut and not healing well

When I took it out of the bag that it came in, a couple of small pieces of the coral flesh fell off. Any harm in leaving it in my QT to see if it recovers? I also had GSP delivered. That just fell apart into a couple of small pieces. Not impressed with the corals from reef cleaners. I just got them because I was already buying a CUC.
