What is this slimy thing?

I am new to reefing and I am trying to figure out what this weird looking slime is [emoji4]. I started the red sea mature program 3 days ago and second day i find this in my skimmer and in the filter?

Are you still cycling the tank? Could be bacterial blobs that have collected dust particles from your sand.

Yeah I am on Day 3, I have no sand atm I am cycling with dry macro rock, maybe something from the rock? Try to google it cant find anything looking like this.

Most likely. Was it dry rock or live rock? If it was dry rock, it's likely rock dust collecting
