yeah sorry on my phone is 4k but the site compresses photos for me, you think my tank is infected? any idea how it got in i haven’t had a new addition in months and dip all my corals. thank you!Assuming it has two little horn looking things on its head, I’m inclined to think it’s a Dermatobranchus sp. nudibranch- if so, that could definitely explain your unhappy star polyps, as they eat octocorals (soft corals, gorgonians, GSP, etc.).
If you have a coral eating nudibranch in it, then yeah, I’d assume you have an infestation just to be safe. I’d check for eggs on all soft corals, but particularly the GSP (GSP seems to be what these typically come in on, and since it’s what you found it on, it seems like a good place to start looking).yeah sorry on my phone is 4k but the site compresses photos for me, you think my tank is infected? any idea how it got in i haven’t had a new addition in months and dip all my corals. thank you!

If you haven’t added anything in months, then I’d guess it’s been hiding out and feeding on something the whole time (possibly growing too).
