What is this snail/slug?

This little fellow came attached to a zoanthid frag. Any idea what he is? I don't want to add him to my tank unless he's harmless.

The snail is harmless, the tiny aptasia on the plug is a pest. Toss the plug, and welcome to R2R!

It needs to die!!

Several methods of doing it.
Some use super glue to plug its mouth.
Some use kalk paste
I think hydrogen peroxide will do it also just be careful not to hit the zoanthid.

I always transfer my new frags from the plugs they came on to new plugs before I put them in my tank. I've found aiptasia on frags that was so small it would have gone unnoticed if I didn't inspect with a magnifying glass. So just to be safe, I always get rid of the plugs if I can.
