What is this snail?

Mexican Turbo snail. That’s a good guy

They are tiny tho. Juvenile maybe?

Yea the second picture definitely trochus, that first picture looks more turbo. Either way both great snails, if the ones are trochus your buddy gave to a great gift as they are hard to get everyone seems to be out of them and they sell for $4 each if your find them.

Thanks for the replies appreciate it a lot. So it is okay to toss them on my tank then? He told me he only bought like a couple a year ago and now there must be 50+ on his tank. Can snails really spawns on our tank?

Def trochus. And yes they do produce viable offspring.
