Hello,
Does anyone know what type of snail this is? its very small about 5mm long. Noticed it crawling on the glass of my quarantine system that doesn't have anything in it right now except some rock.

Dove snail egg cases (Columbellidae sp.). These small, highly variable, beneficial snails rarely hitchhike into aquariums, are good algae eaters (their small size allows them to access areas larger snails cannot), and reproduce quickly. These are often misidentified as Maculastrombus maculatus (once Strombus maculatus).

I would be cautious about using the rock since it can absorb medication and harbor disease.

Thanks :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: ! I also think it is a dove snail
As for the rock, I haven't used this system to quarantine anything yet and I'm just using it to cycle the dry rock before i put it in my DT - I will take it out before I use the system to quarantine fish.
