Asterina Star. Mostly harmless. Can replicate quickly. Although I noticed the first one in my take about 6 months ago, I haven't really seen an explosion of them like people claim they'd do.

You have the eyes of a hawk

Yup Asterina, the fact there is only half of one there makes me think they are already replicating in the tank.
I've had them once before never got out of hand so didn't get a Harlequin in that tank, but I was pulling a hunch out every time I maintanenced the tank.

It looks to big to be an asterina star

I dont trust a single one of them after watching them take down 2 zoa colonies ( one about 90 polyp bam-bam zoa colony)
Remove them with a small net as they are out in full force in the morning

If you don’t want them, go on Amazon, get a cheap pair of stainless steel tongs (always useful to have anyway), and start plucking them out. You can pluck faster than they can reproduce. Lol.

Have completely the same one, never touch any coral, and it don't reproduce that much, they keep the back glass clean as well.
