I just bought a new BioCube tank this past weekend and as I was transferring everything to it, I stumbled across this. It's an abandoned crab shell with a stick like thing growing out of it, the stick is about an inch and a half long.

I haven't been able to find anything by researching, so I thought I would reach out to fellow saltwater tank friends. I attached a short YouTube video I hope works. Please let me know what you think this might be!

Can you get a closer picture of it?

It appears to be either a tube for a feather duster, spaghetti worm, or Vermited snail.

If it's a vermited snail, it is definitely dead. I haven't seen it move of anything come out of it for the past few days that I've had it in the front of my tank
