I noticed this stuff accumulating over the past week and as I looked closer today they look like they have little fans on em, can anyone help me ID it and get rid of it? Thank you!

Hydroids. I get them when I use coral foods. I stop feeding the coral foods and they die off. Must be the phyto or the smaller particles in the coral foods. What are you feeding your tank?

Yep +1 on the hydroids...never have found an effective way to eliminate them myself except starving them out as ritter suggests.

Alga Gen Oyster delight mixed with zooplex.

I'd try larger foods for a while that only your fish can eat. That Oyster Delight has small enough particles to feed the hydroids and the zooplex comes in some kind of gel doesn't it? Try rinsed frozen mysis, krill, etc. and I'd be willing to bet the hydroids will die off. I've dealt with the exact same things you have there. Whenever I feed Coral Frenzy or Reef Chilli the hydroids explode in population. I've quit feeding corals altogether for various reasons but the hydroids are gone since I stopped.
