Hello!
My tank is 1 year old and I’ve had this stuff for a couple of months. It’s green at the base and grows in clumps which are 5mm or so across by a centimetre long and purple at the tip. It sometimes has bubbles on it. It comes off easily with a brush but grows back rapidly. The pictures show about 1 week’s growth. I use RO water and the RO filters are due for a change.
My parameters are:
SG 1.025-1.026
pH 8.0-8.1
dKH 10.5
Temp 24 degrees C
Phosphate 0-0.03
I’ve been adding ‘Vibrant’ to the tank for 2 months but it hasn’t defeated it. I would be grateful for and ideas from the R2R community. Many thanks.

Looks like green hair algae. Vibrant will probably help on an overall level, but once it gets to this point you need to manually scrub it off and get some cleanup crew on it (mexican turbo snails will apparently plow through it).

Thank you. I’ll try a turbo snail or 2.
